April Reads

Honestly, I do not know where April has gone!! It’s been a blooming whirlwind…which has unfortunately meant that I only got chance to read one book in April!

It was a good one though…

I must admit, I did buy this for the cover and also if you’re a book nerd like me…this book has a very tactile cover! It was a very good book, a little bit of a dark and weird story line…but I did find it gripping. It’s set in Victorian England, a era I enjoy reading about, and centres around the disappearance of poor people who are destined for the workhouse. As the story unfolds its pretty sinister but very interesting.
