He’d asked her if she needed help. Help to set up her computer. It was her second day. She’d seen him across the room and smiled and he’d come to help.
And help he did…he helped her to trust again, helped her to love again, helped her to realise that not everyone was the same, helped her to make it possible.
He knew she liked him from the very first moment so he asked her if she wanted to do something fun. They spent an evening climbing up routes at a climbing wall, then hours snowboarding at the indoor ski slope. She laughed, he laughed and then they kissed and he took her for tea. Two weeks later they knew, knew it was different and by this point everyone at work had already guessed.
She asked him if they could get a house and he said yes and now they help each other to be the best they can be. Best together.
