Well would you look at that! It’s still sunny in the Northern Countryside and it’s blooming delightful.
This evening I’ve managed to get out for a bit of a walk, despite taking about 15 minutes to walk up this ^^ very slight incline with my massive belly. Worth it though.
Other things this week…
Jack and his pals getting their pedicures, I was pleased I managed to capture this image of the three farriers beavering away.
My baking escapades resulted in these delicious (if I do say so myself) fresh strawberry and almond frangipane cupcakes.
Chickens have played a part in being cheeky little things this week…these ones trying to steal Jack’s tea…
…and this one which I found on a FOOTPATH in Beetham. I’m sure it wasn’t meant to be there!
Monkey man took me out for a beautiful meal at The Fenwick Arms I scoffed the other courses before there was even chance for a picture but THIS DESSERT seriously it’s stuff dreams are made of. Home made syrup sponge pudding with custard, my mouth is watering just thinking about it.
And finally a must read – absolutely loving this book so far, can’t believe it was written in the 1930’s so a head of his time.
