Italian adventures: Rome

I’m lucky enough to have been living it up in Italy for the past two weeks. Indulging it buckets of pasta, pieces of cheese as big as my head AND lot’s of history & sight seeing. I’ve had the most brilliant time, so I thought I’d share my first instalment of Italian adventures – Rome.

Our first day in Rome was a little bit rainy, but we indulged in some key sights anyway. The Trevi fountain was by far my favourite land mark, there were leaping horses!

I had to stop to stroke this real horse of course…

Stunning ribbons in one of the churches…

Chariots on the roof…

Little orange tree garden in the heart of the city…

Loved this little doorway and tiled floor…

Epic salmon pasta!

…and the most delicious of biscuits!

I’ll leave it there for today – coming up Amalfi Coast, Naples and Mount Vesuvius
