I’ve been awfully busy lately (mainly holidaying in Majorca!) but managed to get some good reading done.
Speaking from among the bones, Alan Bradley
I’ve long been a fan of the Flavia de Luce mysteries and the fifth book in the series is just as good, if not better than the others. Flavia returns obnoxious as ever bumbling about on her trusty bike Gladys solving murders in the little country village whilst trying out a variety of mile poisons on her two sisters. Well worth a read.
A rural affair, Catherine Alliot
This is the second book I have read of Catherine Alliott’s, it was a funny and light read that made me laugh out loud in some places. It was perfect for holiday.
